Travel CT Technologist

About the role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters for optimal imaging
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and document procedures accurately
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and adapt to different protocols

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and physical abilities
• Effective communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
