Travel CT Technologist

About the role

A Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepares and positions patients, follows imaging protocols, maintains equipment, and collaborates with radiologists for accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and ensure safety standards
• Document procedures and troubleshoot equipment
• Provide compassionate patient care
• Adapt to various protocols and assist healthcare teams for timely diagnostics
• Prepare patients and set technical parameters
• Produce high-quality images and follow safety procedures
• Maintain equipment and document accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent CT experience
• Valid radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification (preferred)
• Critical thinking and communication skills
• Physical stamina and technical proficiency
• Sensory acuity to perform duties effectively
