About the role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging. Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. Provide compassionate patient care and support the diagnostic process.
Responsibilities
- Operating CT equipment for imaging
- Preparing and explaining procedures to patients
- Setting technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Ensuring safety and equipment maintenance
- Documenting patient and imaging details
- Working with healthcare professionals for timely diagnostics
- Adapting to different protocols and equipment
Qualifications and skills
- One year of recent CT experience
- Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and technical skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Effective communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
