About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 26-week night shift travel contract at a Level III trauma center in Connecticut, with floating requirements across a CT and RI facility within the Yale New Haven Health System.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans using GE and Siemens equipment
- Chart patient information via Epic EMR system
- Assist with float coverage between the Connecticut facility and a Westerly, RI hospital
- Participate in call and weekend availability as needed by the department
- Obtain licensure in both CT and RI due to floating requirements
- Participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
- Receive flu and COVID vaccinations as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1.5 years of hospital-based CT Tech experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Hands-on experience with GE and Siemens CT equipment required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Candidates must obtain licensure in both CT and RI due to floating requirements
- Position may begin once the first license is issued while the second is pending
- Licenses required if applicable

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
4x12 hours per week, nights, starting August 24, 2026, for a duration of 26 weeks.
