Travel CT Technologist - $3,739 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 5+ years of experience in CT scanning and procedures for an evening/night shift position at a hospital in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, angiograms, and CT-guided procedures including biopsies
• Use a GE 64-slice scanner in the hospital-based imaging department
• Work 36 hours per week across 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Operate under the supervision of a radiologist
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR system (Epic)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CT scanning, angiograms, and CT-guided procedures in a hospital setting
• Active ARRT and ARRT CT Certification required
• Active BLS required
• Active MA Radiation License required (license required if applicable)
• Proficiency with 64-slice GE scanners preferred
• Trauma experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required: at least one must be from a manager-level or above, one must be within the last 12 months and the other within the last 3 years

Qualifications

• Candidates must reside 30 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Proficient in CT scanning and related procedures
• Knowledge of 64-slice GE scanners
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Evening and night shift schedule: Wednesday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
