About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Redmond, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
  • Administer peripheral IVs and perform venipunctures
  • Perform CT-guided special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
  • Use advanced image post-processing techniques including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
  • Document procedures and results accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient care and safety
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • ARRT CT or ARRT R certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid state license where applicable
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Proficiency in image post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
  • Experience with CT-guided special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
  • Two professional references from supervisory positions within the past year are required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized CT Technologist program
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to radiologic procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Image post-processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
  • CT-guided special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
  • IV start and venipuncture skills
  • Infection control protocols

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Swing shifts from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with some night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 40 hours per week on a 4x12-hour shift schedule. On-call is available but not required.
