About the role
Aptiva Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bronx, New York.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray procedures
- Administer IVs as required
- Use EPIC EMR system
- Work 8-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, evenings
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in CT
- 1 year’s experience in X-ray
- Comfortable with IV administration
- Average number of scans/studies per day: 15-20 CT, 15-20 X-ray (shared with two other technologists)
- No radiologist on-site
- PA available
- NYS IV injection certified
- BLS Certification
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
Qualifications
Must be able to work 37.5 hours per week.
