Travel CT Technologist - $3,320 per week
About the role
This position is for a CT Technologist who will be working at a 176-bed hospital in Barrington, Illinois. The shift is from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with weekends rotated every 4th weekend and on-call required on an 8-week rotation. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with 3 years preferred, and certification in BLS, RT (R)(CT), and IEMA.
Responsibilities
- Shift hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- 8-week schedule cycle with weekend rotation every 4th weekend
- On-call required on an 8-week rotation (details discussed in interview)
- Holiday coverage per unit needs
- Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
- First-time travelers considered if well qualified
- Work with ED, inpatient, outpatient, stroke, chest pain, procedural, and trauma patient populations
- Average department volume of 50-75 patients per day
- Required certifications and licenses: BLS, RT (R)(CT), IEMA
- Skills required include IV starts, stroke and chest pain workups, and trauma
- Work with GE CT scanners and experience with this equipment is required
- EMR system: EPIC
- 24/7 support from hospitalist, intensivist, and trauma team
- Orientation includes NEO and 1 week of precepted shifts
- No floating required
- Scrub color: Caribbean blue

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred. Certification in BLS, RT (R)(CT), and IEMA is required. Experience with IV starts, stroke and chest pain workups, and trauma is needed. Experience with GE CT scanners and knowledge of EPIC EMR system is required. On-call requirements and weekend rotations are part of the job responsibilities.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state of Illinois. Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $3320. A $500 contract completion bonus is offered.
