Travel CT Technologist - $3,309 per week
About the Role
We are looking for a talented CT Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Oakland, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your computed tomography skills while advancing your career as a CT Tech. The travel assignment will entail acquiring diagnostic images by performing CT scans. You care about patients and take responsibility for their safety and mental and physical comfort. You will prepare and position patients for capture of diagnostic images, operate imaging equipment, and coordinate with physicians.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by the physician.
- Perform computed tomography scans using designated equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year program at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Licensed by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate and Fluoroscopy Certificate.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- Possess the ability to perform IV punctures and be skilled with Computed Tomography Equipment.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- 2 years of CT experience required within the last 5 years.

Pay
Competitive pay package with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
