Travel CT Technologist - $3,286 per week
Description
60-bed Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility in Mount Pleasant, WICT department with 2 Canon scanners (80-slice and 40-slice) sharing a control room.
Patient population includes outpatients, ED patients, inpatients, and Level II Trauma — primarily adults, with occasional pediatric cases (toddler and up).
Common cases include strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolism scans.
Approximately 20 scans per shift per tech.
8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM.
Set schedule with no on-call or weekend rotation requirements.
Holidays falling on a scheduled workday are expected to be worked.
No floating required.
EMR: Epic (preferred); PACS: McKesson.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of acute care CT experience required.
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- WI state license required (if applicable).
- Current BLS required.
- Experience with strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, and a mixed inpatient/outpatient/ED patient population.
- Comfortable working independently in a CT environment.
- Canon and Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred.
About the Role
First-time travelers are not accepted unless candidate has 10+ years of CT experience.
At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the past year.

Additional Information
Perform CT scans across a variety of patient types including outpatient, ED, inpatient, and trauma cases.
IV starts, CT perfusions, and biopsy/special procedures experience is preferred.
Department support includes a Lead CT Technologist on-site during day shifts, a Radiology Nurse until 4:00 PM, an Imaging Patient Assistant until 9:00 PM, phlebotomy services, and a House Supervisor available for IV support after hours.
MRI, X-ray, and RT services are available 24/7 on-site.
Orientation includes facility new employee orientation (NEO) plus 3 days of unit-specific orientation.
Scrubs must be a solid color, professional appearance — no graphics, logos, or designs.

Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible.
RTO requests are subject to manager approval.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
