About the role
The CT Technologist position is based in a healthcare facility employing advanced imaging technology. The role involves preparing, setting up, and operating Philips Iqon CT scanners to produce diagnostic quality images in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. The incumbent will verify patient identity, explain procedures, operate equipment safely, and ensure all images are correctly labeled and transmitted to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). This position requires a commitment to patient care, safety, and adherence to facility policies.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
- 32 hours weekly with the following rotations:
- Week 1: Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Week 2: Monday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and operate Philips Iqon CT scanners to produce diagnostic quality images
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures
- Operate equipment safely and ensure compliance with all operational and safety procedures
- Ensure all images are correctly labeled and transmitted to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS)
- Maintain proper order in the department and stay current with outpatient departmental policies
- Adapt to departmental needs and remain flexible
Requirements
- Certifications in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT (R), (T), or (N) registration)
- Applicable state licensure(s)
- Minimum of 0 years of experience

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
