About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment in Wenatchee, Washington. This hospital-based role involves providing CT scanning services in a department equipped with Shimadzu portable equipment, Rad Speed Pro, GE/OEC C-arms, and a Toshiba CT scanner. The position requires OR experience for C-arm use and proficiency with the EPIC EMR system. On-call duties are part of the role.
Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- 36 hours per week with a 30-minute meal break included
- Start date: September 7, 2026
- Duration: 22 weeks
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and perform CT examinations while operating equipment safely
- Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
- Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization
- Maintain cleanliness of scanner and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies
- Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
- Follow universal blood and body substance precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
- Comply with continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities
- Complete required documentation for each examination performed using the EMR
- Communicate with patients' family members or caregivers as necessary
- Take call as required
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- Washington State certification as a registered radiologic technologist in X-Ray and CT required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Shimadzu portable equipment, Rad Speed Pro, GE/OEC C-arms, and Toshiba CT scanner required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- OR experience required for C-arm use
- Ability to safely lift and transfer patients using proper ergonomic technique and safe patient handling devices
