About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography technology.
Responsibilities
- Performing CT scans under the supervision of a radiologist
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Adhering to radiation protection protocols
- Documenting patient information accurately and timely
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered CT Technologist (R.T. [CT]) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of CT equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills
- Proficiency in computer software used for medical imaging
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the day
