Travel CT Technologist - $3,255 per week

About the role

Travel CT Technologist position with Wellspring Nurse Source (Wellspring One) for a 13‑week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans in accordance with radiologist protocols.
• Operate CT equipment independently with minimal supervision.
• Handle venipuncture, biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging as needed.
• Generate maximum intensity projections (MIP), multi‑planar reconstructions (MPR), and 3D images.
• Assist with trauma and stroke cases when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience (at least 2 years in an acute hospital setting preferred).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Radiologic Technologist license for the state of Hawaii (must be obtained prior to start).
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption.
• All travelers must apply for a Hawaii state license if not already held.

Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation (advantageous).
• Skills in venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, biopsies, drainages, vascular/cardiac imaging.
• Experience in trauma or stroke cases is desirable.

Schedule

• Start date: 11/09/2026.
• Duration: 13 weeks (40 hours per week).
• Shift: 8‑hour shifts, flexible; actual shifts are 10 hours with varied timings.
• No time‑off requests will be granted during the first 13 weeks.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
