About the role
The Queen's Medical Center (QHS) - West- CT Tech is located at 91-2141 Fort Weaver Road - Ewa Beach, Hawaii 96706 (Oahu).
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Accurately position patients and operate equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
- Document all procedures and results accurately in the patient’s medical record.
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.
Requirements
- One (1) or more years of full-time staff experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility prior to any travel assignments required.
- Two (2) or more years dedicated experience as a full-time staff CT Technologist in an acute care facility prior to any travel assignments required.
- Certification - Current BLS/HCP, ARRT - CT required.
- Licenses - Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist required.
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist required.
- Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively communicate with the Medical Staff.
- Siemens CT Scanner and syngo.via experience strongly preferred.
