Travel CT Technologist - $3,232 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and a New Jersey X‑Ray license to work overnight shifts in a hospital radiology department. The role is based in a hospital‑based radiology department performing CT scanning procedures on a PM shift, Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 39 hours per week over three 13‑hour shifts. On‑call and holiday coverage are required, with possible float to other Morristown locations or a sister hospital nearby. The technologist will use PACS/RIS and Epic charting, be assigned to CT rooms 1, 2, or 3, and handle code grey, trauma, and partial trauma cases requiring immediate imaging turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical, surgical, and radiological supplies according to established protocols
• Communicate with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity
• Verify patient identification and monitor patient condition before and after contrast injections
• Coordinate emergent and unscheduled procedure requests when assigned as Point staff
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and orderliness of CT rooms and equipment
• Notify the Lead or Coordinator of equipment malfunctions or expiring supplies
• Follow established protocols for immediate image acquisition, processing, and verification during Code Grey and trauma cases
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital patient identification policies
