About the role

The Cardiovascular Technician specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) in the radiology unit is responsible for performing cardiac computed tomography scans within an acute care setting. The position involves working during night shifts, providing specialized imaging services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to clinical protocols.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM (7.5 hours per shift)
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• No weekends or holidays
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks (August 24, 2026 – November 23, 2026)

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac CT scans in an acute care environment
• Float to radiology as needed
• Chart in the electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Certification as a CT Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• License may be submitted in lieu of a current license
