About the role
The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist for a healthcare facility in Farmington, Connecticut. The position involves performing all areas of CT scan imaging, including CTA neuro, vascular, trauma, and orthopedic imaging. The role is scheduled for night shifts and requires adherence to hospital protocols with a focus on adult patient care within ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scan imaging, including CTA neuro, vascular, trauma, and orthopedic imaging
- Adhere to hospital protocols for adult patient care in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Work scheduled night shifts (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM)
- Participate in call rotation as required
- Perform various imaging procedures, including stroke center, trauma, angiography, and orthopedic imaging
- Mandatory overtime may be required to ensure coverage
Requirements
- Certification in ARRT CT Scan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT Scan equipment
- Local candidates within 75 miles may be considered at lower billing hours
- All time off must be specified at submission
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, nights
- 36 hours per week minimum
- Scheduled Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
- Call rotation required
