Travel CT Technologist - $3,200 per week

About the Role

BHS Workforce is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel contract position in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

Position Details

• Position: CT/Radiology Tech
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: Before the modified deadline of Sept. 7, 2026 / Sept 14, 2026
• Schedule: 4 nights/week, 7 PM–7 AM
• Weekends: Every other weekend (about 4 weekend shifts)
• Hours: 48 hours per week
• Orientation: 36 hours

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification
• ARRT R certification
• West Virginia license before starting
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• COVID vaccine not required
• At least 2 years of experience
• Travel experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles away
• Cerner EMR experience

CT Skills Required

• CT scans of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, neck, sinuses
• Trauma and emergency CT
• CTA/vascular studies, including PE and aorta
• Cardiac CT/calcium scoring
• Brain perfusion
• 3D reconstruction/MIP/volume rendering
• Contrast administration
• Starting IVs and venipuncture
• PACS
• Radiation safety
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Adult acute/outpatient patients
• Pediatric, infant, adolescent and geriatric patients

Preferences

• CT experience with Canon/Toshiba preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience not required
• LTAC/Trauma I/Trauma II experience not required

Work Environment

• Patient ratio: 1 tech : 1 patient at night
• Daily volume: About 41 visits/day
• Beds: 10
• Rooms: 9
• Weekend coverage required
• No pre-approved time off
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory, interpretation, and radiology services
