This position requires independent judgment and advanced technical skills to produce high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Responsibilities Perform CT and X-Ray examinations. Produce radiographs using appropriate technical factors, and evaluate each image for proper exposure and positioning. Schedule examinations and instruct patients on the preparation required for the exams. Set up and organize rooms for all radiographic procedures. Accountability The Imaging/Radiologic Technologist reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager. Special Demands Mental Strong communication skills with employees, physicians, visitors, patients, families, and administration. Ability to adapt to various job situations involving diverse personalities and projects. Proficient problem-solving capabilities and the ability to handle emergency situations. Ensure the confidentiality of patient information and maintain sensitivity to the needs of patients and colleagues. Physical Flexibility to work in ever-changing conditions. Manual dexterity to operate equipment and the ability to lift or move patients and equipment weighing 20 pounds or more. Agility for frequent changes in position and tasks. Visual and hearing acuity necessary to receive feedback and information from patients. Involves periods of stooping, standing, bending, moderate lifting, and patient care activities. Shift Information Shift: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. Holiday coverage may be required. Minimum Experience Required 3 years of experience in a related role. Certifications / Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) / Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. ARRT (Radiography) certification. ARRT (CT) certification is mandatory.
