Travel CT Technologist - $3,154 per week

About the role

A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain patient history and medical records
• Administer contrast materials as directed by a physician
• Position patients appropriately for imaging
• Operate CT scan equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Document procedures and results accurately
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Current state certification as a CT technologist
• Experience with CT scanning equipment
• Knowledge of patient positioning techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Passing score on the ARRT certification exam

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
