About the role
A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain patient history and medical records
- Administer contrast materials as directed by a physician
- Position patients appropriately for imaging
- Operate CT scan equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Document procedures and results accurately
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current state certification as a CT technologist
- Experience with CT scanning equipment
- Knowledge of patient positioning techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Passing score on the ARRT certification exam

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
