The role requires independent judgment and technical proficiency to deliver optimal radiography services for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Responsibilities Perform CT and X-Ray examinations. Produce radiographs utilizing proper technical factors and evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning. Schedule examinations and provide patients with proper instructions for exam preparations. Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures. Accountability The Imaging/Radiologic Technologist will report directly to the Imaging Services Manager. Special Demands Mental: Strong communication skills when interacting with employees, physicians, visitors, patients, and administration. Ability to navigate varied job situations involving multiple personalities and projects. Capability to problem-solve and make independent decisions, particularly in emergency situations. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with peers and professional staff. Sensitivity to the needs of patients and co-workers. A commitment to delivering quality service. Physical: Flexibility to work in dynamic conditions. Manual dexterity required to operate equipment. Ability to lift and move patients, with or without assistance, and maneuver equipment weighing over 20 pounds. Agility needed for frequent changes in position. Visual and auditory acuity necessary to receive feedback and information from patients. Job includes periods of stooping, standing, bending, and moderate lifting associated with patient care. Shift Information Shift is from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Holiday coverage is not required.
