Travel CT Technologist - $3,143 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. This role requires 40 hours per week on a night shift (10 hours per shift).

About the Role

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) with at least 1 year of experience. The CT Tech will operate computed tomography equipment, ensure image accuracy, and prepare patients for scanning. This is a travel position with immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
• Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State-specific licensing where required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
