About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 24, 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patient identification
  • Review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
  • Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of experience
  • Must have BLS certification
  • Must have ARRT (CT) National Certification
  • Must have state-specific licensing when required
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily
  • Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

  • BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), 2 Years

Skills

  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
  • Ability to work with computed tomography equipment
  • Ability to administer radiocontrast agents
  • Ability to evaluate CT scans
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records
  • Understanding of the McKesson PACS system

Benefits

  • Pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
