About the role
- Department: CT / Xray Tech
- Certifications Required: ARRT (CT)(R), BLS, WI License
- Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.
- Department has 1 CT Scanner & 1 Xray Scanner.
- Float/Coverage: One general radiology technologist will help cover Monday-Friday day shifts. PM and night shifts will work solo.
- Common imaging/studies performed: Hospital ER and outpatient CT. ER x-ray only. No surgery.
- EMR = Cerner; PACS = Spectra.
- Department Specific Equipment: Siemens.
- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Dan Spines.
- Radiologist in-house 24/7: No. Studies read remotely.
- IV start required.
- Set schedules with weekend and holiday requirements dependent on posting.
- No call or standby requirement.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any solid color, clean & professional. Scrubs are not provided.
- Department-specific orientation varies upon skills. All clinicians must clock in and out at facility.
- Cancellation Policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
- Charting System: Cerner
- Shift: 8 Hour PM - Monday - Friday 1pm - 9pm
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and general radiology imaging for ER and outpatient settings.
- Start IVs as required.
- Provide excellent patient care independently.
Requirements
- Proficient CT and general radiology skills.
- Enjoys working independently.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications.
- BLS (AHA) certification.
- WI License.
