About the role

AHS Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel job in Reno, Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
• Accurately document patient information and images in the medical record.
• Adhere to radiation dose guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Registered CT Technologist (R.T. [CT]) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• At least 1 year of recent relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current CPR certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with CT equipment and software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
