About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Matthews, NC. This is a 13-week position with a start date of 10/05/2026, offering 40 hours per week on a 10-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
- Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
- Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies.
- Use computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
- Follow radiation safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Utilize the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- State-specific licensing where required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
