Travel CT Technologist - $3,095 per week

Job Summary

The CT Technologist position is located in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures using Siemens equipment, producing detailed sectional and three-dimensional images for diagnosis and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures. The technologist is responsible for ensuring patient safety, preparing protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the imaging process.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with every third weekend required.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Diagnostic Radiography License
• ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of CT experience on Siemens equipment

Certifications & Licensure

• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
• ARRT Certified R.T. (R) license
• BLS Certification

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Six months of CT experience preferred
• Knowledge of Epic and hospital HIS/RIS systems

Additional Information

• The position requires lifting at least 25 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs., and standing for at least 6 hours per day
• The technologist will perform complex CT procedures, review patient clinical histories, administer contrast media, and monitor patients throughout scans
• Flexibility for on-call duties and holiday shifts is required
• The role emphasizes patient communication, safety, and adherence to organizational standards

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
