Travel CT Technologist - $3,089 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. Start date: 09/18/2026.

About the Role

This is a travel position with a 36-hour work week, 12-hour day shifts. MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is partnering with a top healthcare client for this contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and monitor equipment controls, making adjustments as needed during procedures.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and ensure proper labeling.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
