Travel CT Technologist - $3,082 per week

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin.

About the role

• 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready facility with 60 beds
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (19:30–07:30) Friday–Sunday
• Set schedule cycle; no floating, no on-call requirements
• Weekend rotation position
• Facility has two CT scanners (Canon 80-slice & 40-slice) sharing a back-to-back control room
• Approximately 20 scans per shift covering outpatient, ED, and inpatient cases, including Level II trauma scans
• Patient population primarily toddlers through adults; rare infant cases
• Common exams: strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolism scans
• EMR: EPIC (preferred); PACS: McKesson; medication dispensing via Pyxis
• Holiday coverage required if it falls on a scheduled workday
• Free on-site parking

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans independently, including stroke and brain CTA cases
• Conduct IV starts, CT perfusion studies, and assist with biopsies/special procedures
• Operate Canon and Toshiba scanners

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care CT experience
• ARRT (CT) certification and Wisconsin state license
• BLS certification
• Comfortable working independently with stroke/brain CTA cases
• Canon and Toshiba scanner experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• First-time travelers considered only with 10+ years of CT experience
• Candidate must provide middle name or initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN
• At least one professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Support & Orientation

• Team includes 2 CT Techs during day shift, 1 CT Tech after 18:30
• Additional support from Imaging Patient Assistant, Concierge at Imaging Desk, Radiology Nurse (until 16:00), in-house Phlebotomy, and House Supervisor for after-hours IV support
• Lead CT Technologist on site during day shift; RT support available 24/7
• MRI and X-ray services available
• Orientation includes New Employee Orientation (NEO) and 3 days of unit-specific training
• Unit culture described as fun and close-knit

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions
• Former employees of Advocate Health or its subsidiaries must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible
• Scrubs must be a solid professional color with no graphics, logos, or designs
• RTO (return-to-office) requests require manager approval
