About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Templeton, California.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose Radiology unit within an acute care hospital
- Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT, and/or ultrasound examinations based on experience
- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Test defibrillator and check integrity of crash cart
- Perform mobile imaging examinations as necessary
- Safely prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures
- Utilize a Siemens 64 Somatom CT scanner
- Use EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required
- Additional ARRT certification required in CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography
- Current California Radiologic Technologist license required
- Fluoroscopy certification required
- IV certification required or willingness to obtain
- CT and X-ray skillset preferred; X-ray techs without CT experience will be considered

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
4x10 variable day shifts, Friday through Monday, starting 10am Friday-Sunday and 8am Mondays
