Travel CT Technologist - $3,074 per week
About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel contract in Pierre, South Dakota. The assignment begins 11/23/2026, with 40 hours per week on 8‑hour evening shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable.
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
- Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in exposure sequence, and label appropriately.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
- Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
- Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
- Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence, providing timely, compassionate care.
- Promote a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of experience as a CT Technologist in a healthcare setting.
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
- State licensure where required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
