Description
Hospital-based CT department serving inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients
Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (40 hrs/week)
Backup call rotation required on evenings and weekends
Holiday coverage on a rotation basis
Procedures include CT angiography, 3D imaging, MIPS, VR, Vessel Analysis, MPR, and post-processing/reconstruction
Uses independent workstations, pressure injectors, PACS, and Epic systems
Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- ARRT (R) registration required
- ARRT (CT) or Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) certification required
- Illinois IEMA Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Certificate of Completion from a Radiologic Technology Program or college diploma in a related field
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with IV initiation and contrast media administration
Skills
- Skills in 3D imaging, MIPS, VR, Vessel Analysis, MPR, and reconstruction software
