The healthcare organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) for a position in Kaunakakai, Hawaii. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services with a focus on CT scans at an acute care facility. The position requires adherence to all licensing and certification requirements and is scheduled on a rotating shift basis.
Job Details
- Location: Kaunakakai, Hawaii
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Current Hawaii state license as Radiologic Technologist
- Valid certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- All licenses and certifications must be valid through the duration of the initial contract
Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of full-time staff experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care facility
- One (1) or more years as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
Additional Information
- All elements of compliance must be completed 10 or more days prior to the contract start date. Failure to meet this requirement will delay the start while the end date remains fixed, resulting in a shortened contract.
- A current NURSYS report is required for all submissions.
- If the licensed professional is not needed as a registered nurse on their assigned unit, they may be assigned to serve as a nursing assistant or a safety sitter, and are expected to fulfill that role.
