Travel CT Technologist - $3,000 per week

- Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) imaging, available in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This position involves independently performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced CT equipment, including contrast administration and patient interaction. The role requires a high level of technical expertise, patient care, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
- CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of hire or primary registry date
- 2 years of experience
- Valid ARRT Certificate
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pennsylvania Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 certifications
Additional Information
- Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment to adjust protocols
- Demonstrates proper venipuncture techniques and use of power injectors in accordance with departmental protocols
- Affirms oral, rectal, and intravenous contrast media, assessing patient risk factors prior to administration
- Communicates clearly with patients, providing instructions and alleviating concerns
- Properly identifies patients using two identifiers and reviews history and physician orders to optimize image acquisition
- Ensures all exams are accurately coded, archived, and billed according to departmental standards
