Travel CT Technologist - $2,996 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging on a Canon CT system, requiring current MA licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Produces diagnostic images using CT equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injury
• Complies with all federal, state, and departmental regulations for radiation control
• Participates in annual education on dose optimization (Image Wisely and Image Gently) and safe operating procedures
• Documents patient medical information accurately and follows patient identification protocols
• May act as preceptor for new employees and train students, interns, and externs
• Assists in evaluation of new imaging equipment as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine, or diploma required
• 2+ years experience as a CT Technologist preferred
• Current advanced ARRT CT registration strongly preferred
• Current MA licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist required, if applicable
• BLS certification required

Schedule

• Shift: Days, 4x9hrs
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Backup call required every 9th weekend, with possible holiday coverage as needed
