Travel CT Technologist - $2,988 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Federal Way, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients
• Provide reassurance and support to patients
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (CT) certification
• State-specific licensing if required
• BLS certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT)
• BLS
• 2 years of experience

Skills

• Knowledge of computed tomography equipment
• Ability to work with radiation safely
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
