About the role

  • 5×8 shift schedule with variable start times: 15:00–23:30 or 19:00–03:30
  • On-call required when needed from 23:00–07:30
  • Weekend coverage may be required every weekend based on unit needs
  • No floating required
  • 40 hours per week, 8-hour night shifts
  • Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,986.60

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Conduct a wide range of CT scans and special procedures, including:
    • Abdomen without and/or with contrast
    • Chest without and/or with contrast
    • Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
    • Head without and/or with contrast
    • Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
    • Brain perfusion
    • Colonography or virtual colonography
    • CT arthrography
    • Myelography (cervical, lumbar)
    • Musculoskeletal trauma
    • Thoracic procedures
  • Perform interventional procedures, including:
    • Starting peripheral IVs
    • Aspirations and biopsies
    • Drainage
    • Code strokes and CTA (abdomen, pelvis, chest, heart)
    • CT-guided biopsy (spine, chest tube placement, extremities, facial bones)
  • Operate Siemens and Philips CT equipment
  • Utilize EPIC and Allscripts charting systems

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist; first-time travelers accepted
  • Active California state license
  • Required certifications:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARRT CT (Computed Tomography)
    • ARRT R (Radiography)
    • ARRT advanced certification
  • Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment (hard requirement)
  • EPIC experience (required); Allscripts experience (preferred)
  • Ability to treat patient age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • References required
  • All certifications must be submitted with application
