About the Role

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Tuba City, AZ. The CT Tech will operate computed tomography equipment, ensure accurate images, and support physicians in medical interpretation. The role also includes patient preparation and care during CT scanning.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions correctly.
• Position patients appropriately for scanning specific body areas.
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal structures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
