About the role

We are looking for a talented CT Technologist with Acute Care experience to work at an excellent healthcare facility in Chico, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to build upon your computed tomography skills while advancing your career as a CT Tech. The travel assignment will entail acquiring diagnostic images by performing CT scans. You care about patients and take responsibility for their safety and mental and physical comfort.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.
• Perform computed tomography scans using designated equipment.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year program at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate and Fluoroscopy Certificate.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Possess the ability to perform IV punctures and be skilled with Computed Tomography Equipment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 2 years of CT experience required within the last 5 years.
