About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT registration and BLS certification to perform CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures across various shifts.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: Sep 14, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hrs/wk, 4x10hrs, variable shifts
• Openings: 1
• Shift options: 7am-5:30pm, 8am-6:30pm, or 9am-7:30pm
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel positions

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Cares for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to appropriate locations
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information
• Ensures integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manages supply inventory

Requirements

• ARRT registration as R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) required
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI, preferred in CA
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
• License required if applicable in state of employment, including fluoroscopy license if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Must not have more than 5 days of requested time off
• Must not have any prior negative licensure actions
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
