About the role

The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist to join the team at a Level II Trauma Center located in Reno, Nevada. This role involves producing diagnostic CT scans in a busy clinical environment, assisting radiologists with advanced imaging procedures, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Schedule

  • 36 hours per week, night shifts (12 hours)
  • Friday and Sunday nights, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • Travel may be required to float to other departments based on organizational needs, up to the candidate's competency level
  • May be required to work major holidays and pick up an additional shift during the schedule period
  • The organization reserves the right to call off shifts, full or partial, with 48 hours notice based on census

Responsibilities

  • Produce diagnostic CT scans in a busy clinical environment
  • Assist radiologists with advanced imaging procedures
  • Deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology and for CT (ARRT (CT))
  • State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience in the department, including trauma experience
  • Travel experience required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 60 days upon hire
