Travel CT Technologist - $2,963 per week

About the role

Bestica is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sonora, California. This position offers a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour day shifts and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images.
• Perform imaging procedures for patients from adolescents through geriatric populations.
• Create sagittal and coronal reformatted images.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging files, and billing information.
• Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory.
• Adhere to patient safety and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA.
• Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as required.

Requirements

• Active California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license – Required.
• ARRT certification – Required: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT).
• BLS certification from an approved vendor – Required.
• Fluoroscopy license – Required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology – Preferred.
• CT advanced certification – Preferred in California.
• Venipuncture certification – Preferred in California.
• Strong CT imaging experience.
