Travel CT Technologist - $2,950 per week

About the role

The CT Technologist position is located in a healthcare setting that offers opportunities to perform computerized tomography procedures, including invasive techniques. The technologist will operate a Toshiba Aquilon 64‑slice scanner under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist, positioning patients, operating specialized imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate labeling of films while delivering safe, high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using a Toshiba Aquilon 64‑slice scanner.
• Position patients and operate specialized imaging equipment.
• Accurately label and mark films.
• Take call as part of the role.
• Provide quality customer service and patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
• Maintain safe and proper body mechanics while transporting patients and equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Radiology school.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy.
• Ability to lift 40 lb from floor to wheelchair or waist, move 40 lb six feet, reach overhead while holding 25 lb, lift 40 lb from wheelchair to bed level, pull 40 lb from stretcher to bed, and push a 150‑lb loaded stretcher 300 ft.
• Computer skills and good judgment/decision‑making in radiology techniques.
• Possession of two years of diagnostic experience (preferred).

Additional information

The position requires moderate to heavy physical effort, the application of proper body mechanics, good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity. Clinical responsibilities include ensuring accuracy in film marking and labeling, and providing quality customer service and patient care in accordance with hospital policies.

Schedule

Evenings, Monday to Friday, 1500‑2330 (10‑hour shifts), 40 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
