Travel CT Technologist - $2,938 per week

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissue.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and adjust equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform clerical functions as needed.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment that provides timely, compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 18 months of prior experience as a CT Technologist in a health‑care setting.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure in most states (as required).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly pay and direct deposit are provided.
