About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Saranac Lake, New York.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
  • Accurately document patient information and images in the medical record system.
  • Adhere to radiation dose management protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide clinical guidance.

Requirements

  • Current state certification as a CT Technologist.
  • Experience in performing CT scans.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Skills

  • Proficiency with CT equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Benefits

TRS Healthcare offers a competitive pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), including a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
