About the role
This role involves performing professional duties related to obtaining proper computer tomography images under the supervision of radiologists and the CT Manager. The technologist provides care activities in the presence of patients and may assist with invasive biopsy procedures as needed.
Responsibilities
- Performs professional duties involved in obtaining proper computer tomography images.
- Provides care activities in the presence of patients.
- May assist with invasive biopsy procedures as needed.
- Occasional internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information, involving normal courtesy and tact.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with advanced certification in CT.
- Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland.
- Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current CPR certification.
Schedule
- Nights shift, 12-hour shifts.
- Minimum of 36 hours per week.
