Travel CT Technologist - $2,901 per week

Responsibilities

• Follow hospital protocol for exam routines and produce quality studies efficiently
• Operate all equipment in the department with requested training in specific areas if needed
• Properly warm up CT scanner, run QA, and operate pressure injector, PACs units, and Meditech
• Complete CT procedures effectively, providing appropriate feedback to patients and maintaining a clean environment
• Adjust and manipulate images to required specifications, including windowing, contrast, and creating reformatted images
• Ensure scans are properly identified and all necessary information is recorded accurately
• Complete administrative tasks: tech edits, escort patients, clean and prepare rooms
• Notify the Coordinator of any equipment malfunctions
• Report "wet reading" findings to physicians, ED, nursing, etc.
• Access RadPortal if necessary and restore prior exams for radiologists
• Burn CDs for patients or ER when requested
• Stock, tidy, and maintain a clean, functional work area
• Perform clerical duties as necessary to maintain workflow and quality

Requirements

• Licensed in MA and ARRT(CT) certified
• Graduate of AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology
• 3-5 years of experience

Schedule

20:30 - 07:00, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 13-week contract

Pay

Pay range: $3,070.00 - $3,223.50
