About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position located in Southampton, NY. The schedule is every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and provide necessary information.
- Perform intravenous therapy, contrast selection, and injection.
- Document required information, including informed consent, as needed by the department.
- Present images to physicians for diagnosis and patient management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing MRI imaging exams for patients of all ages.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
- Current ARRT/NYSDOH License required.
- BLS certification required.
- Certification to perform contrast injections.
- Specialized training in MRI Technology and cross-sectional anatomy.
