About the role
The CT Technologist position is based in New York City and involves performing computed tomography procedures in accordance with prescribed protocols. The role includes utilizing appropriate imaging techniques, ensuring quality control, maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to safety guidelines, and collaborating with radiologists for optimal patient care.
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (shift hours noted as 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Minimum of 37.5 hours per week
- Location: 1190 5th Ave, New York, NY 10029
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures according to prescribed protocols
- Exercise clinical judgment
- Monitor patient condition during scanning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited radiologic technology school
- New York State License (L.R.T.)
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)
